Guffaw, SNORT!

Alright so in the midst of the heatwave in Brooklyn, not being able to sleep for more than 2 hrs, being w/o my roomie, and being rather um, depressed, there happened to come on one of my fave movies. Van Helsing. Go ahead, laugh, it's all good. I mostly like it cos theres monsters DUH and even more importantly, Richard Roxburgh who plays Dracula. From what my friends have said, I'm a weirdo about my older slightly creepy effiminate men infutuations, well we all have our things don't we? Bottom line, although I was sitting IN FRONT of our lil ac window unit to merely NOT DIE, ol' Richard cheered me up a bit. Although I did have a nightmare after the movie which I won't go into cos you'll be like, "bitch needs some therapy." I will say it involved me, Richard Roxburgh, an amputated foot and his midget girlfriend. YEAH. Anyway, because I'm still riding my obsession with YouTube, I wanted to see if they had anything with Richard as Dracula. And then I found this GEM set to Depeche Mode's "Strange Love." I can't handle it, seriously, I peed my pants a little when I watched it. GENIUS.

WTF. Who has enuff time on their hands?! Well..okay I *am* wasting time blogging, so who even THINKS of these things?! Well whoever you are you big weirdo, cheers to you.

Church News update: Marjorie Fair are playing a show with the Chuch! Sadly, it's in Cali. Boo! That show would make me FAINT and/or die. Seriously. Almost like when the Stills opened for the Bunnies..it's like a young band that def owes something to this other band plays with them, I just can't handle it. It's like, amazing music sung by hotties, where you get both the youngin and older versions..oy! And seriously, when I first saw Evan Slamka the singer for MF I was like, "Damn. He's a baby Stevie K." Checkit:

Seriously, for realz, I'm not crazy. Speaking of cute frontmen, I'm going to have to be nerdy and and admit I looked up this band Moaning Lisa on Youtube. I had a fun couple nights with them last Fall when they visited from LA and played after my friend's band @ Siberia. Courtesy of a um, feeeew, I got the courage to make friends with the singer first, David George. At first it was because he was a great singer and was cute and had tattoos, but then I found out he and the other bandmates were adorable and sweeties. I'm rambing. Bottom line, I want them to come back to NYC and play this song. Rawr.
